Sometimes words are not enough. We need another way to express what we are believing or how we are feeling, and so we pick up a paintbrush, a pastel or a crayon and pour out our heart to God. As we paint, draw and create, the very breath of God inspires us and we go beyond what our own abilities and desires could make, and participate in divine creation.
